FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

  • Why do I need to have a Professional Esthetician?
Professional estheticians not only have the passion to help you with all your skin concerns but also the education and training. We are constantly learning and growing to better serve you.
  • Why do I need facials?
A regular facial routine is more about your skin health and maintenance than it is about luxury or pampering. Facial services help increase circulation and stimulate the skin. It can also help slow down premature aging and drastically improve conditions such as acne, redness and Rosacea. Facials are a great preventive treatment to help you beat wrinkles before they occur, and can also help you achieve lighter, brighter, younger-looking skin. Also, men enjoy regular facials to help minimize irritation, redness, ingrown hairs, and razor burn associated with shaving.
  • What can I expect at my facial appointment?
A little bit of relaxation and a great refresh for your skin. When you come in, we chat about you — what you want and your specific needs. The whole experience is very enjoyable, and you choose how the sessions goes. If you want to talk, great we can talk. If you want to relax and have quiet, we can do that, too. Our goal is to not only get your skin glowing and healthy but to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
  • What should I do to prepare for my facial?
You do not have to do anything to prepare other than come ready to relax and feel refreshed
  • How often should I get a facial?
Every 4-6 weeks is recommended to maintain the healthy and better-looking skin you want.
  • How soon will I start seeing results from my facial?
Some people see results immediately, and your skin should feel different right away. The skin feels, clean, smooth, hydrated, and reflects a new level of health that’s visibly noticeable. If the skin has more advanced long-term needs, such as treatment of skin aging, acne or hyper-pigmentation caused by hormonal fluctuations or sun damage, results may not be immediately visible; however, skin health will continue to improve as you follow my advice, and use a good home-care regimen.
  • What are the long-term benefits of getting regular facials?
Healthy skin. And healthy skin is better-looking skin.
  • Is permanent makeup the same as tattoos?
Yes and no. We do use a tattoo machine for some of the procedures. However, we use a different pigment/ink than a real tattoo.
  • Is permanent makeup really permanent?
Like any tattoo, permanent makeup can/will fade over time. Due to the pigments we use, permanent makeup does fade faster, usually, so we recommend a color boost every 12 to 18 months.
  • Why do I need Biote?
When your body is unable to produce the testosterone, progesterone and estrogen, whether menopause, aging, surgery or a traumatic accident, you may notice a shift in how you feel. Symptoms: Exhaustion and fatigue Brain fog or memory issues Weight gain Muscle and joint discomfort Reduced sexual desire and performance And many others
  • What are Bio-identical hormones?
Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is the use of supplemental doses of hormones derived from a natural plant source that have a chemical structure identical to the hormones we naturally produce. Our team will consult with you to tailor the dose specific to your requirements. The tiny pellet, smaller than a grain of rice, works around the clock to keep you balanced. It is inserted subcutaneously and absorbed as the body needs.
  • Why are pellets better than creams, patches, shots or pills?
They are pure hormone that is not metabolized into byproducts through the liver, stomach or skin. They delivery system allows your body to use the right amount of hormone from the pellet as the blood flow surrounding the pellets pick up what is needed. Plus, you do not have to remember to take a pill, rub a cream on.
  • When will I see results?
Most pellet therapy patients report relief as early as four week or less, while some see the most benefits after their second insertion.
